In my busy schedule I try to find ways to incorporate Yoga into both my personal and professional life, I hope to help you do the same by sharing my experience.
Hi there– I’m Antoinette
I started my journey in Yoga nearly 20 years ago and over the last 5 years after completing a 200 hour teacher training have found ways to not lose sight of the experience and benefits gained. Like many of us I have a full time job, I’m a wife and a mother. Finding time for me is hard but in using the teachings of Yoga I’ve been able to incorporate despite my hectic schedule and commitments. I am a biotechnology professional, who has a passion not just for science but also for finding stillness. I am Yoga instructor, a wife and a mom. I love what I do because it impacts the world and is ever changing. Life is busy to say the least, there is a lot to juggle but that is just the way I like it.
I believe that change is inevitable, don’t you? When we are faced with a new situation to navigate, we have the choice to adapt to the situation or approach it the same way we always have. If we adapt, we have the opportunity to learn and grow from the experience because it is different than what we were familiar with. Although changing our approach is not always the right answer, I am fascinated by our ability to grow and learn over time as it influences who we are. I believe the openness to change allows you to become the best version of yourself, your authentic self.
Being authentic starts with self care and reflection and it does not discriminate between personal and professional realms. In this new chapter of my life, discovering the power of Yoga, raising a child, and pursuing my career interests I wanted to ensure I was in fact the best version of myself as I knew it would impact everyone around me. Please join me on this journey of reflection where I will use Yoga and my personal experience to share with you the tools I have garnered.
